As a child I never received any mentoring and hardly any parental support. It was me and my own imagination, music, nature and animals. It was the whispers and shifting movements in the corners of my eyes. The things I never shared with anyone else that I saw and heard.
I wrote to try and put words to what I was experiencing—and it wouldn't be until I was a teenager and went to live with my also gifted papa that these abilities would come online with a potency. I began noticing I could sense what others did not. Could perceive things people needed maps for. And saw energies and spirits even when I didn't want to.
What followed was a life of attempting to figure it out, to make sense of the "weird" and see if I couldn't get it to work for me. But mostly it became returning to nature, to earth, to me—and coming to find that the cliché was true. Everything was indeed inside of me.
My interests and spiritual skill set have adventured into many different realms over the years. Where I once may have defaulted to giving credit to spirits, teams unseen, and calling magic in the names of so-called higher beings—I now see that whatever is coming through is merely a mirror and an aspect of my own self. An experience humbling, exciting and terrifying in the best of ways.
I've dipped into mysticism in various religions, New Age, occult, channeling, yoga and tantra, various energy healing modalities, meditative practices, along with neuroscience and quantum physics explorations. But what remained true was: all paths lead home.

The trials and challenges have been soul crushing at times. I really feel for those who don't know how to move with the intensities or feel alone in it. I've been isolated, broken down, and thoroughly desperate for my own clarity. I know what it's like to have everything collapse and disappear in my life whilst traversing "awakenings." To be betrayed by those you most trust and to doubt if being alive was even worth it.
The tools I've gathered come from living and surviving the shadow—from the pros and cons of being a "highly sensitive" person, of interacting with "stuff" that the majority relegate to myth or fairytale and seeing results from it. I'm not pretending it hasn't been the most difficult thing to step up to. It has. But I am saying it's worth it.
Besides, I'm guessing you've always been different. Why not lean into that weirdness with things you can use? Pragmatic ways of moving with the forces? Is it time?
I'm looking forward to that space you create once you have the courage to face a thing or two in your own inner world. And if I can be part of facilitating this with more ease and joy, then it makes it even more worth it to have gone through what I have.
